Tetraline Backpack Questions
The Tetraline Backpack can carry small ultralight rods to large swimbait rods, using spinning, casting, conventional or spincasting reels. On the upper end, it can carry up to 20oz setups with rod, reel, line, bait all included. Most freshwater setups weigh in at the 10-15oz range. It is not made to carry fly fishing rods due to their different geometry.
Any rod butt section with a diameter of 1-3/8" (36mm) or below will fit in the Tetraline Backpack rod holder.
There is no limit to the length of rods the Tetraline backpack can carry as long as the center of gravity (reel, baits, sinkers) is kept near the base of the rod, and the total weight is at 20oz or below.
It can fit up to six 3700 size utility boxes, which are approximately 14" x 9" in length and width. Actual number of boxes vary based on the height of each box, which can vary between 1.5" to 4" tall.
The two boards with hook and loop fasteners are made to combine into a main compartment divider which gives you more options to organize your gear, and also add rigidity to the bag so the rod tips do not touch. See how it is used in the product video on the Tetraline Backpack page.
The strap is for converting the Tetraline Backpack to side carry mode, to be carried over one shoulder. This helps avoid overhead obstacles such as trees and bridges.
At this time, the Tetraline Backpack only comes in the Mustard Yellow color. If there's a color you'd like to see it in, write us at support@riverborn.co, and we will consider it for the future.
Returns and Warranty Questions
After you receive your bag, test out its functionality while keeping it in new condition. If you do not like it for any reason, you have 30-days to get in touch with our customer service and send it back to us.The 30 days startfrom the day you receive the backpack. If there is a defect in workmanship or materials of an item reach out to us with photos and a description of the issue. Your claim will be evaluated by our staff and if it all checks outwe will replace the item within a full year from the date of receipt to the original purchaser.
